+1 for hand built wheels. That will finish it off nicely.

I think the Khamsin's look fine, just need to be de-stickered

Agreed. So so purdy

Indeed, intention is to get Records hubs laced to silver TB14 rims, but putting it on hold as got other priority to do first (moving house, sorting out the Basso Diamante, the custom build, LEL 2017 etc.).
Last picture in full sunlight with no fooling around with filters, wheel work great, just too few spokes and black kinda let it down a bit.

Would be 100% spot on for this bike but really don't have the money!

Can the Guerciotti come out and play? Just put some new shoes on it, Record hubs and Open Pros. The saddle and seatpost are borrowed, want a Romin and Nitto S65 to match the shiny stem and Noodle bars. Debating the future of the White bartape. Took it out Sunday and it doesn't half shift.

I think silver tb14 would be awesome, but black tb14 rims with silver hubs and spokes would like even better with the gumwalls I reckon.
Your bike looks great as it is. Just dreaming on your behalf :) -

Beautiful Batavus Pro, I have one although maybe an older model, it was six speed and is Reynolds 531 Professional, lovely and light. The freewheel gave out and I opted lazily to convert it to fixed, a decision I regret. Now want to re-gear it. Advice on a gruppo would be welcome. Pic as it is now

I think it was a 1989. Your paint job certainly leaves mine in the shade.

126 spacing?
Your look very similar to mine actually, TBH, what you can do is simply make it into a road fixed for now, and worry about the gears later?

Or Veloce (bin the power torque cranks and bb though, and get 2nd hand/nos 10 speed square taper or ultra torque)
Alternatively, vintage C-Record/Chorus/Athena with first gen ergos ?

I ran full Veloce with old Chorus shifter, no reason why not.
Having said that, normal Veloce still feel great to use, just a little soft in feel, which to be expected at the price point.
£200 more get you Potenza thought.

Surely a road fixed is exactly what it is now?

Road fixed as in classic drop, shallow rims, front and rear brakes, etc.
needs handbuilt wheels with silver spokes... Other than that lovely
