Received and installed the Marco SP9 filter brewer today. Means I can make filter coffee by the cup with excellent consistency, and not twat about with a pouring kettle unable to do anything else for 5 minutes.

That's a great idea. There's a coffee shop near me that makes great coffee but only let down by very slow service. The whole operation seems to shut down any time someone orders a pour-over. I'm going to show them this.

I've always had a problem with shops using domestic brewing methods in a commercial setting. There's a big clue as to why it fucks up service and you get a queue of impatient shitty expressions.
