Heres a really rare one, a Technics SU-3400 from the early 70's, and such an early production model that it's branded as national panasonic rather than Technics. This amp has it all, pre outs/main in, separate tone controls for each channel, 2 tape loops, a stunning appearance and it sounds on par with my Sansui AU-999 (which is one of the best early 70's sansuis)
These almost never come up for sale, and a few i've found have sold for around 250/290 euros. I'd like £200 for it.

Poweramps mainly, need to power two boxes that'll take 800-1000w @ 8ohm a piece.

I've got a Seka SL57, really obscure old british made power amp, ugly as hell, weighs a fair bit with a huge toroidal transformer, has xlr inputs and outputs + a pair of normal binding posts if you want to bridge it and use it as a mono amp. Theres almost nothing about it online so I have no idea what the power output is but I imagine it's pretty powerful based on it's weight and build quality, will test today and let you know what it sounds like if you're interested?

Really fancy the Fostex 8 track but can't justify the spend atm. Would you take anything in trade? I have a minty 70s Pioneer receiver, some wharfedale diamond 9s, a great condition natural walnut finish Squier jazz bass and some really well looked after mics i'd be willing to trade.

If the price was right then possibly but i don't think it's gonna be anywhere near powerful enough going from the information on an old eBay listing for one.

For anyone interested in high end tuners I just got an audiolab 8000t in, supposedly one of the best tuners of all time and cost almost a grand new. I'm after a very reasonable £180 and it will have brand new dial lamps fitted!
