4 digit says to me Holdsworth 1961-64. I've got a 4 digit Holdsworth track frame from this era, fancy lugs. It's a hard period to date, but Holdsworth definitely fits the numbers.

Random Italian beats random British (or any other nationality) any day. IMO!

The well finished wrapover absolutely says 'Holdsworth' to me.

Having difficulty posting photos from phone...
Anyone got any ideas on what this is?
Distinctive cinelli BB
Suntour superb pro dropouts, it's pretty light, not sure of the accuracy, but kitchen scales were around 2.7kg including a cheapie bb and headset?

Weight is definitely good. I had Spec (UK based company) with Reynolds 653 and such BB, frameset total weight came to 2.5kg but basically frameset was built around standard frame building parts.
Cinelli Supercorsa Bottom Bracket Shell
Try to weigh just fork and frameset and search as guide weight.

Hey guys. I recently acquired this frameset and am in the process of trying to identify it so that I know what parts I need. From the headbadge I've deducted that it should've been made somewhere between 77-80 but I'm not sure. The badge on the bottom bracket seems to have been removed and the number on the dropout is partially painted over so I can't see all the numbers but I think it says something like B7 or 87 and then 029. Any help is much appreciated. http://imgur.com/a/f6drz

https://www.necoparts.com/en/product/Chainwheels-SA18-312E-NT/SA18-312E-NT.html is this the same as omniums? cant find a price but may be a cheaper option potentially. Possibly only available to high volume brands..

Anyone recognise this brand of freewheel? Not a regina but called an Extra Corsa...
Can't quite make out the badge -

had a chance to weigh just fork - 750g and frame is 1850 ish.
doesn't seem bad for a 61 x 57 c-c infact, that's about 200g lighter than my old precursa.
27.0 seatpost ordered (thomson inline)

Does anyone know the year and type of the front hub? It has the same body as a Campag Record Titanium (but doesn't have the same dust caps and, more importantly, isn't Titanium).
Can't see it on Velobase or on any of the old catalogues

Trying to figure out what group these hubs are from on a pair of Mavic G40s -
Thanks

I'm not an expert on Raleigh frame numbers, but they are normally stamped sideways on, parallel to the bb cups.

It looks a teeny bit suspect to me.... I hope I'm wrong but bottle cage braze-ons, rear brake bridge and thickness of that BB lug suggest it may be more 'replica' than 'SBDU'
I'm not an expert on Raleigh either
Forks look nice though! -

Sorry for the crap pic but it's the only one I've got, does anyone have any info on this Colnago mtb? The owner says he got it in 87 but I reckon he's off by a couple of years (early 90's I thought). I know it is a Colnago but looks rebadged to me. Thanks for any info

Yeah it's deffo not a SBDU. I'm guessing it's a road that's been converted to a track at some point and given new forks, just no idea what it started as.

Your best bet would be to fully uncover the number - when I was dating my Raleigh, I found that with a bit of searching Raleigh's records were relatively easy to find, then it was simply a case of working out what bits the number meant what

Ah, wow! Thanks so much for this - I'd tried to find who that 's' logo was but had no luck. I'd assumed French from the Velodrome name, french BB etc.
Much appreciated indeed
EDIT: looks like this guy has the exact same frame
Yeah, that looks on the money.
Many thanks!
