Yeah, the team car was with him, he had a busted bike and no shirt left, thought he was going to get into the car but he carried on. Either he's a hard bastard or Vaughters was being a dick and insisted he finish

He's a hard bastard. He knew he needed 250 kms in his legs if he was going to be competitive next Sunday, even if his participation then was (and remains) in doubt. That's why Rowe finished too.
