• Campagnolo Scirocco 35

Fulcrum Racing Quattro LG is essentially the same thing but with a more sensible rim width and evenly spaced spokes.

  • I've done around 3500 all-weather pot-holed miles on my Scirocco's and not once have they needed tweaking. They still run as true as the day I got them. The spoke pattern should not be of any concern...unless of course it's an aesthetic thing. Only gripe would be the overly clicky rear hub, but then again some people like that

  • He didn't says that they are bad wheel, just that the alternative is a better choice, especially the rim width.

  • unless of course it's an aesthetic thing

It was purely an aesthetic comment, I've no reason to suppose that G3 is any better or worse than evenly spaced spokes, but some people do find it a bit aesthetically-challenged. On the other hand, the rim width is a real thing, and I don't know why Campag are being so slow to move on the Campag branded wheels when they already have the extrusion dies for the Fulcrum branded product. Wiggle price on the Quattro LG is only £10 more than the Scirocco 35, and the wider rim is easily worth that.
