I've done around 3500 all-weather pot-holed miles on my Scirocco's and not once have they needed tweaking. They still run as true as the day I got them. The spoke pattern should not be of any concern...unless of course it's an aesthetic thing. Only gripe would be the overly clicky rear hub, but then again some people like that
I have Campagnolo Scirocco 35's on a winter bike and they are truly fantastic for the money. They're noticeably faster than my £600 low profile DT Swiss hoops. They look great too. Often see them as low as 180.
