  • Would anyone be interested in an old home theatre PC that they could cannibalise for parts? It's about 5 years old and I was going to bin it but thought I would see if anyone here had an interest. Specs here:

HTPC Case Zalman HD503 Black With LCD / Remote Control
    Case Fan 1 x 80mm Standard Fan - Included
    Power Supply Quiet Antec 500W Earthwatts 1 x PCI-E
Processor AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, Quad Core (AM3, 3.20GHz, 8MB Cache)
Heatsink & CPU Fan Standard Heatsink & CPU Fan - Included
    Motherboard Asus M4N68T-M LE V2, 2xDIMM, Max. 8GB, M-ATX - Included
    Memory 4GB (2 x 2GB) Mushkin PC10600 1333MHz DDR3 - Included
PCI-E Graphics Silent ATI HD5570 1GB Passive Cooled
Sound Card Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio 7.1 - Included

Everything works, although I've removed the hard drive now. I also upgraded the power supply and added in a couple of fans at some point.

The Zalman HD503 case is probably the best bit now, looks pretty smart with other AV equipment. Specs here:

    Dusty pic included.
