Yea that's what I was thinking. I used shoe glue (contact adhesive) to stick the pieces of the cover back on, it's not flush or pretty but stopped the solvent smell a little. Suppose it could be stickerbombed to the same effect.
The wheel alone weighs as much as a modern full build. Wouldn't mind shaving off one or two kg.
Tapped around the resin with a hammer, it laughed at me. Having destroyed the cover to remove it, the fumes were potent for days even for an ancient wheel.
Rear still has the covers intact, and the extra kilos. This is the front, which would be great to 'restore'.
