Need to shorten some new SRAM brake hoses by about 6". Cutting board, stanley knife, and a steady hand the way to go? Youtube makes it look easy but I don't want to feck it up - I'd like to ride this to work on Monday.
If you don't want to fuck it up, take it to a shop with proper choppers.
Doing anything with a bread knife is a quick way to absolutely ruin it.
Stanley knife and cutting board worked fine for me on both occasions that I've fitted hydro discs.
