  • ^ film looks great will get some tomorrow !...

  • red dot on old street? I don't really have anything specific to complain about, I just didn't like the vibe I got. hard to place, but y'know when you feel like you regret going somewhere? it was years ago too. I got my M3 serviced there and as far as the service goes I have no complaints - there was nothing wrong with it just lubricant gunked up and needed a clean. just seemed... dunno. a bit patronising/snooty/pushy. I'd choose to go somewhere else (not trying to put you off - the service itself seemed fine, just oversharing...)

  • It's nice stuff for sure, only seller I can find is in Thailand via EBay

  • Rolleicord and Fuji Pro 400H / Ektar 100.

  • These are super nice.

  • last one is epic ^

  • Yeah, actually super happy with that one. 2 hours outside my back door. Will definitely take the Rollei next time I'm going out to shoot night time stuff.

  • really good. the landscape is surprisingly sharp - I thought the trees would go 'soft' with movement. I guess the fields are soft, right? It makes them look like water.

  • It was a very calm night, but there is always some movement I guess. I just love how simple this was to achieve, on digital it's a faff and then there are so many options to edit it I end up mangling it.

  • More Rollei / Ektar

    Love that bottom one especially

  • Thanks man. Appreciated

  • new to film. What's a good value black and white 35mm film you guys suggest? Not looking for anything super fancy but don't want to waste my money on crap films. Thanks !

I'd go for Ilford XP2 400. It's not super expensive and can be processed by any high street photography store. If you want to develop yourself, I'm a fan of Ilford HP5+. There are cheaper options like Kentmere and Kodak Tmax, but I haven't shot much of it.

  • Considered. Thanks very much

  • TMax 400 is good too. What are you shooting with?

  • om-10 with a manual adapter

  • Does that have a meter?

  • have not used the camera properly yet, but i believe so.

  • Ok, should be fun, I have an OM-2n that is great. Meter for the shadows and you'll be reet.

  • I have very little photography experience so should be a fun learning experience. I'm sure I will have a few questions to ask in the near future , apologies in advance

  • Ask away. I'll answer any I can.

  • Turns out there's nowhere near me that does 1 hour photo so I need to post it off.

Any recommendations on good postal dev+scanning?

  • Filmdev.co.uk if you like the look of my scans.

  • First few shots from my Reality So Subtle 6x12 curved plane pinhole camera.
