In other news, last week I had a partial refund on the cracked Polish/Russian disc wheel pair, the super heavy ones. Since I had nothing to lose, ripped off the cracked plastic covering. Housed inside was a four-spoke (like my one I bought on-here), but with loads of epoxy resin/glass fibre and expandable foam in the gaps. Highly likely indestructible, though I'd love to remove all the shit and make them fourspoke again.
Tapped around the resin with a hammer, it laughed at me. Having destroyed the cover to remove it, the fumes were potent for days even for an ancient wheel.
Rear still has the covers intact, and the extra kilos. This is the front, which would be great to 'restore'.
