    I'm doing a show off fixie track bike build and it's already got a ti stem and post so I thought I may as well give it some more. May steer clear of them then I guess.

    Depends how much material you use.

    The big problem with Ti is that the strong grades are not ductile, so cold bending them into a drop bar shape is hard. There are ways of solving that problem, but you end up with something which is both more expensive and worse performing than either aluminium or carbon fibre, so it's a bit pointless.

    If you want some more Ti bling, get yourself some Morati cranks, if you can find some which aren't broken yet :)

  • Given my track record for breaking things I'll probably give those a mess, will settle for Ti phil wood bb, hardware for hubs, lockring and maybe a cog.

    I'm still toying with the idea of ti spokes even though I know they're shit.
