Yes, all the EU laws will become our laws (which it itself will be a huge undertaking), and then we will be able to change them, but that will take years. And presumably a lot of companies will lobby to keep many of them as it will make their trading with Europe easier. So, there will be vast amounts of work (that could otherwise be spent on far more useful activities), and not a lot will change. Other than perhaps some knee-jerk jingoistic stuff.

Correct me if wrong:
The 'Great Repeal Bill' means incorporating all European laws (even ones we don't want) into British law.
And likely Brexit means being given what we are handed in one-sided negotiations (with the EU and others) as the weaker partner with a diminished world standing.
If legislature is going to be tied up for years 'Taking Back Control', then surely we are going to end up more Euro than a Brexiters worst nightmare?
