glad its working out! Inspired by the ability to swap between fixed/geared - hope it goes well

That's the one I am looking at too. The pizza rack would be lighter and also cheaper but judging from the last post in the thread @TheSchwartz linked to it doesn't seem to work too well with canti brakes

Well, you're using mini-v's so that won't be an issue for you. I just switched to v-brakes on my Kona, which has the Pelago rack on it, because the straddle wire had to sit so high all I got from the front brake was a lot of squealing and brake judder.
But you'll be fine.
It even comes with a light mount. -

Thanks. Have you used it for proper touring? My worry is that dual purpose racks don't give such a good position for mounting heavy panniers as they're a bit high off the wheel.
But have never actually tried one.

@TheSchwartz Has this got gears yet?
Thanks.
Yeah I'm not sure about front rack - looking for one that has a platform for about town but also low rider position for panniers when touring. Anyone have any suggestions?
The pizza rack looks good - has quite a few fans on this thread. Also looking at surly racks, their front rack looks like it might be better for touring but I don't like the look of it so much.
