It's a beautiful space isn't it. It's been a long ongoing project. I love how it looekd when it was first unbricked. I hope they keep some of the patina but imagine it'll be a full restoration.
I doubt it'll be used as a waiting room? It'll probably be a wedding/function venue.

I'd hope for a venue open to bookings by the community, with lots of public use. I doubt it'd work well as a wedding venue to start with considering that the immediate surroundings are still ... unprepossessing. :) Let's hope they get somewhere with plans to spruce up the approaches to the station.
I find it astonishing that rooms like this remain closed off for so long. I remember first walking into the old Hackney Central station building a few years ago and being amazed. (Unfortunately, that didn't become a public venue but a private one. The building must have been sold back in the day, as I think the platforms were moved and access was no longer through the station building.)

I prefer still work.
Most of my stuff is post. I hate waiting for renders.
Interestingly the foreground of an image is as important as the subject matter itself.
That was a golf course as I recall. :oP

Need four floors worth of dado for a late Victorian restoration. Been looking at modern materials but can't shake the feeling wood is good. Anyone know of a decent supplier?
