Media is indeed at fault here and lack of critical thinking. But that doesn't come naturally to all. It's not taught in schools, if you don't pick it up it might not come.
It does irk me ppl are grand to ally themselves to brexit after the official leave campaign, they did ally with xenophobia.
Also lexiters...Another type of irrational in my book but for different reasons.
How to go forward though?

Well, I'm applying to tranfer to schools in Denmark, France, and Germany so that's how I'm hoping to be moving forward-I appreciate not everyone might be so fortunate (if even I might not be myself) but having already done one recession I'm not doing another, and I'm also hedging my bets for what kind of country I might like my own progeny to be acclimatised to. Basically, fuck another X years of this shit-if the IndyRef 2 works out I'd move back but I'm not holding my breath for that either. I'll be happy to be a remoaning libtard somewhere else that isn't an exploitative tax haven...
And I would still argue that this is because their primary information on these topics is either the Sun or the Daily Fail and they are lazy, passive people that don't challenge these assumptions by actually seeking a different point of view. All the attempts to silence dissent around Brexit just shows that a reasoned, informed debate is just not something these people want to have-Farage saying he'll fuck off abroad if it's all a disaster is just another deeply ironic layer on that shit cake in the same way as all the 'expats' abroad voting to have their own pensions devalued and healthcare stopped. It's moronic on epic proportions, and David Davis' face sums it up nicely...
