British soldiers can't be guilty of murder. British soldiers will forever be flawless saints because anyone they kill is guilty of forrinness (see also Bloody Sunday, Mau Mau, Baha Moussa and other cases passim).

I've not followed the Marine A case much - wasn't he basically guilty of murder? In which case, the Mail's front page today is an absolute car crash.
