Cap Formentor, sure, bit of a trek.

Sa Calobra? 130km round trip from Palma. Hardly unrealistic.

The majority of the photos in the article are pretty close and most definitely accessible from Palma though.

Pretty sure there will be Canyons available. If you're doing serious miles over there though I'd prefer to have my own bike everytime. Having that confidence for descending makes a difference.
