Seems to be a bit of a hit & miss regarding the usage.
Might go with Roadlink if I need 11-36/11-40 at the back.

Has anyone tried to push a longer B-screw into the 105 5800 mid cage mech and fitted a SRAM PG-1130 11-36 cassette and lived to tell the tale?
