It doesn't seem particularly harsh to me. Tyres and pressure also make a difference.

Though I have never ridden on one, would imagine the wider diameter would make it a bit stiffer. And if they were straight forks (if that was being discussed), unlike yours, it is reasonable too that, that has a significant affect. Though, I'm no engineer yet.

I got a quote from Orlowski for €138 shipped for a fork made from Taiwan cromo or €168 shipped for Columbus Max. I've never ridden Max but isn't it meant to be a very harsh ride?
