Thats the 10mm thru axle front, you can only use it with DT swiss hubs. Somewhere was doing the version you can use with 'normal' QR hubs though for cheap @swedeee got them.
I did find these a while ago for £30:

Might be of interest to people with discs and quick releases. Rose are doing the DT Swiss RWS Thru Bolt axles for £9.67 each, so you can pick up pair for £26 delivered instead of about £46 in the UK.
