iris can fuck off, normal king cages or blackburn chicane. The latter is equally sturdy but easier to get the bidon out.

They discontinued manufacturing the stainless iris I think ... thats what I was told anyhow.

Makes sense because it is a massive bag of dicks.

Ah yeah, i guess I got used to having those tools at work, still a great chain set, should get those for the Elephant if clearance allow it.

Wouldn't that be really iffy to have on a tourer regarding the special bb and the special tooling? If you break the bb you're stuffed!

Why the hate for the Iris?

I haven't used a normal king cage but have 4 iris cages spread across 3 bikes and love them, blackburn chicane didn't even hold onto my bottle.

@amey that is great, dynamo cabling is OCD-levels of neatness.

What kind of tape is that holding the wire on? Normal tape just seems to come off after a couple showers.

Silicon tape I'd guess. I used Di2 cable guides which stick on, and worked very well so far.

Helicopter tape maybe?

I think some people were looking for bags to fit in baskets, like the ones swift industries make etc, and discovered that they're pretty pricey to get over here. I just found out that Mack workshop makes them in the UK for £55! much cheaper and easier than trying to import something from the US.
