the Scott needs some decals now i think. looks so much better now though, even when you had just put the primer on the shape of the top tube comes out so much more!
hows the finish looking up close now that its dried? ;)

Anyway, on to the next. A little ebay find has got me this (without the wheels) which is labelled as a genesis and comes with genesis stem and bars. The model is "Little Spoon" which is apparently maybe a prototype. Either way it looks like a decent steel frame that will take 28s, hopefully with mudguards and will be my mile muncher/commuter

Its had a stuck seatpost removed with a heat gun so paint needs attention and the barrel adjusters are stuck in the downtube stops.
Hopefully a fun little project that'll free me up to sell on the rest of my disused frames ready for the next.

What wasn't my fault? The Scott? It definitely was. It was in great condition, I rode it like I stole it daily for over a year and then refit the headset using a big spanner to whack it in....
But yeah it wasn't a good bike, I just liked it.

Not professionally but I might give it a bash. I'd love to have half of it stripped like the volare but I've heard clear coat doesn't really stand the test of time on its own.

Hit a snag with the Genesis. The rear needs a long drop brake but I've just bought a Force brakeset to go on it :(
So looking at some brake pad drop extended things from China....
Can't spend more money and they're £18 a pair!!
