East of Melbourne too. 1 in 20 is a 'famous' climb in the Dandenongs. Not super long or hard but they're obviously chucking in some warmup lumps before the bigger stuff near Bright.

Riders are really thinking of ever more imaginative names.

Do people use things like modafinil in these kind of events?

They shouldn't... it's on the WADA banned list.

That said, I very much doubt that there is any drugs testing.

I always wondered about doping in these kind of events. Nothing stopping you really.

The top contenders are cycling 400+ km per day for days on end, they can't be running on fresh water.

Don't ruin the magic, I am still believing the tale they do only live on water and icecream

Just looked at the rules and it clearly states no doping. Obviously that doesn't mean it won't occur but wasnt sure if it was one of those things that was just accepted and not referenced to but 30 seconds of Google cleared it up.
