These self supported event formats are bloody great to follow and a bargain to enter. I can't help feeling RAAM might see a big decline in takeup unless they do something to spice their format up, it has lost a lot of its appeal to me, anyway. This is proving a great event, much epicness.
RAAM still has a (relatively) massive following in the US. It wasn't that big over here anyway.
I don't think they have too much to worry about but I could totally see an unsupported category in their future, much like the Silver State 508 and some of the other longer rides have done.
