What's keeping that pump on there? Is there a peg of some sort or is it just squeezed in and the strap stops it popping off?
-
• #1204
True, I had the same issue on my large frame, had to order a custom size to fill the gap.

Looks spot on with the horizons on 650b..... Without wishing to spam the thread, what's a good, reasonably lightweight, 650b Wheelset with 12mm bolt through axles? Needs to be 100 front and 142 rear...?
My specialized sequoia would benefit from lighter wheels and gumwall horizons! -

Its on my hit list, I need to use a big cropper.

Looking forward to seeing the elephant in this setup. 47c is hellishly tight on my chainstays, so when I can justify it i'll get some 42c, I was thinking of compass but maybe I'll get supremes.

Magnets.
Actually the pump is sprung so it grips onto the seat post clamp and headset up, there is also a small Velcro strap which is for added safety

I have the 29" version on my MTB and they're amazing value.Failing that PM @Hulsroy as I think he may be selling his or you can get the WTB ST i25 TCS 27.5" Rim for under £30 a pair here:

@josh @fredtc @MisterMikkel Thank you all very much!
@jambon Technically they're flat bars, not risers, you should try them and embrace the comfort of ze mega german tekking stylings. Also, these flaps are amazing combined with long guards, my feet are so dry! However I did have to put some bends in them because the material was a bit stiff and would cause the mudguards to bend up when the flaps hit the back slope of speed bumps as I went over them.
@Thrasher @Tijs @ough @TM I don't mind it being a bit short, but what bugs me more is that the nose is too pointy for this frame so it gets crumpled up a bit and I cant move the bag back any further because the lower strap would be right over the DT bosses. However its a small niggl,. It fits fine on my other bikes, so I'll live with it.
In other news I find my rando bag a bit small for daily shopping etc so I've got a 'large' Wald basket (aka the 1392) like this:
which I'm going to pop on the rack once I've finished my negations to get a custom bag made to fit it. May also put my Tubus Vega back on too to allow me to move long objects without being 2m wide.

I love Compass and even commute in them.
But YMMV, the Supreme is a good compromise, weight is very good for sizes too, Panaracer make Gumwall in 42mm too.

Any difference between those and the Ryde26 27.5 x Novatec XC wheels on cnc-bike.de?
Hovering on the buy button on the Ryde26's.
-
• #1215
Probably not, there are just more hub options with these and you can easily run them with different standards, but if its just for one bike I doubt you'd notice. I presume those rims are fin for tubeless?
-
• #1216
Maybe they work for ghetto tubeless, but Panaracer don't officially support them as tubeless, also, I not find them slow rolling compared to Horizons
-
• #1217
oh and gravelkings too .. 1.75" came in 40mm on my 18mm internal rims
-
• #1218
It's pretty much the same, only that the Edge26 (Not ryde) profile looks like.
The Guapo are rebranded Chosen hubs right? I'm seriously torn.
-
• #1219
thats too wide unless you are building an MTB.
-
• #1220
Good shout, I'm not.
Where'd you purchase 12mm conversion kit?
Nvm, I can't bloody read.
-
• #1222
Planet X it is then! The Pathfinder project just got some wheels.

Would this mean selling your old
Bag?I'm going to attach a metal shopping basket I found in the alley behind my shop to the gamoh on my Argos, if it fits...

The Guapo are rebranded Chosen hubs right?
I didn't know that, thanks, it means I can find the adaptors cheaper now!

No way, its still perfect for touring, just a bit small for large day to day items.
Even their largest one ('L') is only 50cm long. Should also make an XL version, for those big frames.
