Different cranks need different BB for the same chainline: just because crank X needs a certain BB, it doesn't follow that crank Y will use the same one.
If the SRM is track specific then presumably it has a 42mm chainline.
Provided that you're currently running 42mm, then you won't need to tweak anything.
