That's not an unheard of rate, i too am in the wrong work. I thought the community site he was on about loved watches. Period. No sniffiness. Also thought there was some humour in the article about having to take the average from 3 watches to get the time. Whereas a quartz would have been 100% Accurate.
Felt you could replace watches with bikes.

@Chalfie A good read but a few observations: 1. $4k for 4.3 days? I'm in the wrong line of work. 2. Unnecessary sniffiness regarding quartz watches. 3. Normal people don't wear a Black Bay down the local baths.
