Yamaguchi really doesn't like ti have variation in stem height. It would ruin the line in the top one. Also 2nd on I don't understand the point of the double chain stay.
I think the idea behind the chainstay is that the bike will only make left turns, hence less material on the right and asymmetrical seat stays.
Anyway, both are experiments/show bikes, optimal functionality probably wasn't the brief
