eBay advice needed. Won a pair of Sugino 75 DD's for a very good price and paid via PayPal.
The seller refunded the payment 2 days later and said that they had ended the listing early by accident when they meant to cancel. The 7 day auction had run 6 days and 23hrs when they ended it. The seller has now identically relisted the item with a higher price. I've attempted to raise this as 'not cricket' with the seller, do I have any recourse available? I've attempted to complain through the standard 'item didn't arrive' but eBay defaults to 'PayPal says a complaint can't be raised'. As most here will understand, I've since spent time researching and purchasing a 144bcd chainring that I no longer have a chainset for, I'll hang onto this but I feel pretty annoyed and out of pocket
You can probably devote some time to contacting ebay and making a complaint etc but you'll still not have the cranks and ebay won't impose any sanctions on the seller so save yourself the time.
