Not meant as a negative in any way.
Just another mark against the idea that an officer being charged at by a knife wielding person should be able to simply incapacitate the attacker non-lethally.
While the pros and cons of the bullets can be debated at length, it's understandable why they are chosen for that purpose.
Also, don't police forces generally use hollow point bullets (so the bullet doesn't pass through and take out a civilian or two) which are a fair bit more likely to result in a fatal shot?
