Watching Mike Brewer buy a car is frankly pretty dull,
I'm not fatist, some of my best friends are thunderchunkies, but I find Mike Brewer's face really hard to look at nowadays.

Spent a few hours after work machining these vernier pulleys for the 16v. Tapping feed on the mill made this job a lot easier

For anyone that didn't see it, I'd advise watching the qualifying footage from the Weslake Cup at Goodwood 75th Members Meet. The Weslake Cup is named after the guy that designed the head for the A-series engine amongst other things so the race involves various MG Midget/Sprite based cars. The qualifying from Richard Woolmer's Sebring Sprite was hilarious to watch and the start of the race when battling against James Colburn's Lenham Sprite GT is some of the best racing I've seen in a while...

Not enough surface area on the outer slots to use a CSK. I might countersink the inners but I thought that would look weird

iso ^^^^^^^

Also the plate is 6mm thick and that's not thick enough for an M6 CSK.

Koni FSD & Eibach springs fitted to the bathtub. Ride a little harder but the crashiness and jitters have gone. Perhaps shocks with standard springs may have been the best combination, but am pleased with the results. It's still a very flawed car, but good fun. Best change was an MTech short shift kit, bit of of revelation for £100, gearchange now very good.

oh no! we had our car totalled during a car chase. it sucks.
A quick Google shows that it might be that I am required to wear my glasses when driving, which makes sense as I'd drive into a lot of things if I didn't.
