It's lovely. I rather like the two non-limited edition modern interpretations as well.

Nice. They've always looked good apart from the dials saying Seiko in a dozen different ways.

Nice. Is it me or has a bit of black bay heritage rubbed off on this duo?

Small seconds is small.
Very tasteful.

Realised the one she wanted was a datejust 2 - with that colour face. Seems you can only get that in white gold :| £21k....

Edit!
This one is 36mm in steel for £4900?
Or steel and white gold for £5850:
Or on a jubilee for £5900

Awesome - I think the top one is the nicest. Thanks @radar

You could also have that with a jubilee for £4950:

My understanding was, if she wanted days of the week on the dial it would have to be 'precious metals'

SLA017
That is excellent.
I really want a Stargate II, but they're a bit big. I'm never that keen on the numbering or hands on the other divers. That one hits the spot.
Do you think you can you get people to repaint non-Seiko dials to a high standard with Seiko logos? I always like the non-date Das stuff. But like Seikos to say Seiko.
Oh...
limited edition of 2000 pieces, and price has been set at €3800
;(

we have probably got one of those if you want me to check.

Datejust is 36mm
Datejust II is 42mm
New Basel Datejust is 41mm
Days of the week is a DayDate at 36mm or 40mm and precious metal only. -

I was thinking more a Pelagos hom?

I've just been at an Omega AD, the guy said the phone's been ringing off the hook today with people trying to reserve one of those sets.
I was there to try on a Speedmaster Pro for the first time, it was pretty sweet. I'm trying to decide on a watch for my 40th, if there were any Tintins left I think it would've been a cert.

I've been doing some reading on the Railmaster since it was mentioned in this thread, I actually prefer the look of the 39mm cased version that was available a few years ago, but it's not got the anti-magnetic insulation that (to me) is a defining characteristic, and which the new one has got.
That aside, I like the idea of the watch, I'll ask in the Omega Boutique when I go to collect my Tintin, possibly tomorrow, whether they have one I can look at.

The Railmaster is classic, I found one a few years back and was very tempted to pull the trigger... Very reasonably priced it was too IIRC...

with no success I take it
SLA017. It's essentially a reissue of their first dive watch, the 6217 but with a modern movement.
