I have just received a pair of Bontrager 27.5" rims which both happen to be asymmetric.

Can I just build them as fixed?
What is the deal with this asymmetry?

helpful for front disc hubs and rear gear hubs. It is possible to build a wheel with less tension difference/spoke angle difference between the 2 sides.

So, they aren't best suited to build as a fixed gear wheelset?
