Anybody shot film when in snowy conditions?
Getting my negs back and scanning them using silverfast and my epson v700. Incredibly difficult to get scans that are not grainy and very contrasty with a vignette.
I'm shooting with a contax T2 and Kodak portra 160.
How do the negs look? Is there detail in the light areas of the neg (that would be shadow)?
If you used the cam's reflected metering without compensation anything that isn't snow could be majorly underexposed.
I think thats it really. I was probably just metering for the snow and shooting.
Off in a few weeks time so can i try it out and be more careful.
The negs are dark
