Well organised and a challenging course with a lovely little hill to finish ;)

Horrible crosswinds whilst clipping along at ~30mph made for an interesting ride!

Anyone want to buy a fast front wheel?

Just gonna use the Jet 6 Plus off my road bike. Barely anything between them and I need to downsize a bit.

Good, I don't need to upgrade my 9 then. Phew.
Stick it on TTf it'll go in no time.

• #14958
Yep, but prefer to sell on here if possible. I might keep it tbh, depends how much racing i end up doing this year.

For retro-aficionados* one of our team riders Alex built up a Zipp 3001 to race on this year.

Needs a Hooker brake and Sugino 75 Aero cranks for full retro points
-
• #14968
I would love to find a set of the aero Suginos - we have original double Zipp aero shroud brakes but they're a) MASSIVE and b) not great with proper brake blocks

Have you measure the Q on the Pistard Air cranks? Presumably they're sensitive to chainring thickness, like the Campag cranks with hidden 5th bolt. Did they go together with the Arc ring painlessly, or was there shimming/grinding involved?
I'm slightly toying with the idea of getting Vision NS as they are 10mm narrower than my Zipps
-
• #14970
Just about <140mm.

Hey @mdcc_tester you like cutting bits of metal up...
Any idea how I would go about making something like this for my setup?

I already did something similar on my T3, you can see it in my CP thread. Are you after more width, a Garmin mount or both? Is there room to twist the Garmin into the mount, or do you need a rotating mount?
-

I'm looking to stabilise the arm pads. With paste and overtightened a bit they're still rotating around the extensions over time. I had zip ties between the pads which helped but just noticed one has rotated again. Enough big hits on shitty lanes will do that I guess.
Also, the Garmin mount (or phone mount) would be very cool. Actually some kind of recess that I could zip tie a Garmin etrex into would be good since that's where it currently is, on the stem, but its mount is shit and it's constantly coming off on bouncy descents.

This gadget? Something like that would be cool.

Which bars are you using?
Is this your etrex mount?
Glenn Longland
Time triallists are often very focused on their own area of interest, so it's possible that many of you never look at the General forum. I have just posted a new thread there which refers to Glenn who, although he did other things, is principally known as a TTer.
Have a look at it - I would value your comments.
