I've been toying with the idea of racing for a while and cyclocross seems fun, so I may enter a few local races this upcoming season.
I've heard they're brutal and the physiological demands are high! Should I be looking at increasing VO2, FTP and MAP to start with?
Oh and brush up on skills
Make sure your dismounting and remounting is good before the season starts.
