• Kristof and has just passed the 1/3 mark so plenty of racing still to go. I tried putting it into TCR perspective and by this point Kristof was about 20% further than anyone else where as he's less than 10% ahead of Mike.

Mike was 147km behind when I left it last night but is now at 120km. Since both of their last rests, Mike has sped up relatively and is now averaging 24.4km/h compared to Kristof's 21.3km/h. I'm predicting it is going to get pretty close tonight once Kristof stops for some sleep.

Meanwhile behind them the Dunne and Hunter duo are about 50km behind him and have maintained that for a while now. They're on a little less sleep that him at the moment

Sarah Hammond slightly behind them 56km with a little more sleep in the bag (around 5 hours it looks)

@frank9755 is currently sitting in 13th position who is currently still going having not stopped for 36 hours! He's 120km away from Eucla which I believe has a motel.

Nice video, made me chuckle: https://www.facebook.com/IndianPacificWheelRace/videos/405449113163812/

  • Kristof has never raced anyone of Mikes calibre.

But then again, we know from Russia race, K can go long.

It's a long race, with some lumps to come. It's far from being settled.

  • Except you :P

Personally I think it's gonna come down to the last 72/48 hours and basically who doesn't sleep
