City still have a 32% probability of winning the league?
-
• #135053
Yes. Theirs to loose.

Chelsea need to win 70% of available points whereas Spurs need 100%.
Chelsea have won 82% in the first 3/4 of the season; Spurs 70%.

In short - yes

Merseyside derby should be a good'n after our force fed diet of international tripe.

Luckily this international bollox coincides with a busy weekend of bike drinks followed by mothers day so won't be missing out on anything. Couldn't have been timed better tbh

Trying not to get too blase about our ongoing consistency, it's not something we've been known for in my time of following Spurs, but over the last two seasons, we've been getting results against the teams below us, and holding our own against those who are rivals for top 4/6.
Southampton aren't an easy mark, and even with a nervy second half, we still won, not something that I would have been confident of before Pochettino's arrival.
Clear in second by two points, still above arsenal (fingers crossed) 9 points and counting, and proving there is life after Kane.
We need to wrap Eriksen and Alli in cotton wool, as they seem to be taking up the slack, and Janssen needs to get more game time, no point in bringing him on with 5mins to go... -

1985 was the year that you cunts set English football back 10 years and stopped us from potentially winning the European Cup(I know, if my Aunty had bollocks etc)
Yes I'm still bitter and couldn't give a fuck.
Not as bitter as you lot are against Utd though -

Spurs have six aways and four homes. Latter include ManU and Arsenal.
City 5 and 5 but with Arsenal and Chelsea away and Man U at home.
Chelsea six home and four away. City at home and Man U away.
Liverpool four away five at home. Everton at home their biggest test.
-

Nice to see that Arsenal and United still have some tough games coming up where we have played all the 'big six' both home and away and made an excellent account of ourselves in the process.
Everton at home our biggest test you say? I'd hate them to go down as we wouldn't be guaranteed the six points off them every season. -

Yes but you have dropped points home and away against "lesser" opposition who, incidentally, comprise all the teams you will be playing.
-
• #135064
Yes so no top four for us. It's United's to lose

Jonny, the idea of most of these chaps watching football is stretching it a little. Actually playing is inconceivable.

Sunderland boss David Moyes says he started Jack Rodwell, 26, over Didier Ndong, 22, in midfield against Burnley on Saturday because he "felt the game suited more Britishness". (Sunderland Echo)

stalin ?
Ten games to go.
So now we need 21 points to win the league.
To beat each of the chasing teams we need the following:
Tottenham 21 points
Man City 19 points
Man U 17 Points
Liverpool 15 Points
Arsenal 15 points
Everton 9 points
West Brom 2 points
So we need 9 points out of ten games to get Europa football (provided that Leicester don't win the CL which is very possible). 15 Points will guarantee a Europa place but will also give us fourth and a chance at CL football.
We need 17 to ensure CL football.
The @8yards8feet twitter feed has not yet updated its probability table. Before the weekend, it had us as 94% of first place, 5% of second and 1% of third. Tottenham were 3%, 47%, 30%, 13%, 5% and 1% places 1-6 and Man City 3%-25%-20%-8%-3%. No one else was given a chance of top slot.
These figures will change after City dropped points and Chelsea won with one game less now to play.
