• 1991 Koga Miyata Gran Winner, Hardlite FM-1 Spiral Splined Triple Butted Tubing

    Blurb:
The Koga Miyata Gran Winner has been one of the most favourite bikes from the Koga Miyata series. For many years it has been the choice of ambitious riders all over the world.
The model from the year 1991 is made from an excellent steel. Since Miyata made their own tubes they have been eager to produce a top quality. And the upper class of their tubes are without doubt some of the best you could get at that time. In case of our bike it is Hardlite CroMo FM-1 in the form of a splined triple butted tubing. Even Columbus SLX seems to be a boring heavyweight compared to this tubing.
The geometry is designed for serious racing. And if you want to give it a go, there is also a number holder.
The Koga is an extremely reliable bike while performing like a pure sports machine. You can use it for whatever ride you have in mind, it will certainly not disappoint you.

    The sizing is as follows:

    • seat tube c-c: 54 cm
    • seat tube c-t: 55.5 cm
    • top tube c-c: 55 cm
    • head tube: 13 cm
    • stem length: 9 cm
    • handlebar width: 39 cm

I am looking to get £75 for the frameset, consisting of:

    • Koga Miyata frame & fork (paintwork not too bad but requires partial restoration)
    • Shimano 600 Tricolore headset
    • Shimano 600 Tricolore aero seatpost (I think)
    • OE Koga Rolls saddle (requires restoration)
    • Cinelli internal cable routing handlebars
    • Cinelli stem

It can come with additional parts (bottom bracket, better saddle etc), pending availability and requirements.

I can also build the bike up with Shimano 105 1056 2x8 STI, Shimano 600 Tricolore 2x7 SIS (OE spec) or Dura Ace 7400 2x8 STI groupsets and matching wheels. Price depending on exact requirements.

    My feedback on the forum

Shipping from Bosnia & Herzegovina: £39 for the frameset, £55 for a complete bike.

    Thanks, Nikica.
