this is the quote i had from a couple of guys i have used on 3 occasions:
Internal Decoration
We submit our quotation to the following specification.
Front Room
Strip wallpaper from walls and dispose.
Make good any defects or loose plaster on the walls and re-line if necessary.
Apply two coats of matt emulsion to walls including feature wall to fireplace.
Thoroughly rub down woodwork, fill, mastic and apply one undercoat followed by one brilliant white eggshell finish. (including picture rail, skirting, door and frame.)
Back room
Strip wallpaper from alcove and fireplace walls and dispose. (re-line if necessary)
Fill walls of any defects and apply two coats of matt emulsion.
Thoroughly rub down woodwork, fill, mastic and apply one undercoat followed by one brilliant white eggshell finish. (including picture rail, patio door frame, skirting, door and frame.)
Prepare and paper fireplace wall. (paper to be supplied by client)
Playroom
Fill any defects in walls and apply two coats of matt emulsion.
Prepare and paper fireplace wall. (paper to be supplied by client)
Kids room
Prepare and paper fireplace wall. (paper to be supplied by client)
We will supply all materials and protection unless stated.

It took them about 1 week to complete it all and they are always clean & tidy. Actual bill was £2088 as we used Farrow & Ball paint. Rooms are all 6m*6m except the playroom which in 5*5
