That rack is tiny, like really small, enough for a couple bananas strapped to it.
Wouldn't go for it, best is p-clip with proper rack, or simply go for the WALD basket, latter is so much more functional and easy for everyday stuff.
The dual pivot brakes are pretty good, when compared to says, Paul Racer, the difference in performance is marginal for slightly more clearance.
As your bike isn't gonna go full ravadist, your current components is plentiful and work well.

@edscoble do you know how they compare to centre pull long reach like the dia compe 750? The tektros are fine, used them on the mixte build and am impressed by them. But the Dia Compes would mean a) full on rando wankery and b) ability to mount one of the specific front racks for centre pulls.
