  • I shredded my Corsa G+ to pieces yesterday riding gravel.
I am looking for a new pair of race tyres. I am have a pair of NIB Open Paves 25c but my new race wheelset is tubeless so wondering whether it is worth going down that route. I am struggling quite a bit with my current 650b WTB Horizons setup on my tourer, so not hundred percent sure it is worth going this route for my race bike. On the other hand I had tubeless on my cx bike without issues.
    Any recommendations?

Looking at http://www.bicyclerollingresistance.com/road-bike-reviews/schwalbe-pro-one-tubeless-2016 I should be looking at Schwalbe Pro One or Corsa G+ again right?

  • So you took lightweight race tyres on gravel and you're annoyed they didn't hold up?!
FWIW I've put over 6000km on my 23mm G+. One flat.

  • I didn't say that. I am just saying I broke my race tyres and need new.

The GP4000s is my mates. Everybody on road bikes had issues. I wasn't expecting as harsh conditions as we met. I took the only big tyres I had that fitted my road bike. But I wish I had taken a different bike with bigger tyres instead.
