Cool! which ones? What's the diff between RM01 and RHM02 -- maybe I was just looking at 02 and zero100? (I'm being a bit of a weight goober at the mo).

What do people use to cut down seatposts....can I just lop a part off?

Carbon? You can buy hacksaw blades with a certain teeth per inch which are fine for carbon. I did my steerer with a normal hacksaw and it's been perfect. Don't breathe in the dust!

awesome. I am a scientist, so I have lots of PPE at my disposal :)
Last bit is cables. I'm going full on fancy pants with compressionless.
Think I'm gonna get these ... are they the best option?

Updates...
Ultegra chainset and Jagwire cable kit purchased. That finishes my 6800 group.
New bars purchased (Specialized womens) -- though @amey will still take those Deda's for another bike :)
What do people recommend in terms of Garmin mount? I have stock garmin on my other bikes (cause I had extra). Want something cheap. Stock Garmin? 3D printed carbon? Or stem mounted?

Purchased. Cheers

I like barfly mount, I like the ones that keep the Garmin in line with the stem. The out front garmin mounts are pretty good.

nah dont go 1x .. 1x has a purpose which is simplicity and low maintenance at a price of heavier cassette and gappy gears both of which shouldnt be on a road bike. Do it on a winter/commuter bike.
My 10-42 XX1 is lighter than my Dura Ace 11-28.

One of the cutting guides may feel like an indulgence but makes cutting posts down dead-square and bang on where you wish to execute the cut trivially easy.

Obviously white tape to match the saddle. Looks ok so far.

Went for a quick test ride! Riding smoothly though need to a bit to get fit just right (stack/seatpost height/bars).
My main issue was hope freewheel noise. I like a bit of click but this seems overkill. Any tips for toning it down?

Pull the freewheel off and put a bit of greece on the pawls . Not too much or they stick . You get used to the noise.
