eBay problems, resolutions, shenanigans, questions and info (not bike finds)

Looks like I might have been stitched on eBay. Bought a Garmin, paid, item shipped on the 10th, estimated delivery on the 13th, never showed up.

DPD tracking number says something like 'we've got your item and it's on its way' for the past 6 days or something. Emailed them yesterday to check what's going on, and I got this:

It shows on the system that there is no trace of the parcel. You need to raise a parcel search investigation with the sender.

Went back on eBay to check user rating: 0 points, member for only a couple of weeks. Bummer.

Sent a request for clarification, pointing out the item did not arrive. Not very hopeful.
