  • I'm wondering whether Sagan

    • did too much work on the Poggio,
    • started the sprint too early or
    • just needed to go at that distance in the last km to be able to reach is max speed.

    For the rest of the final he played it amazingly cool

    As I said 300k is a great leveller, and Sagan definitely burnt too many matches on the Poggio, also did the majority of work on the flat

  • I did ask him if he saw the Worlds last year.

    But of course Sagan is beatable, and Kwiatkowski does seem to know how to do it.
