does the post or tube need roughening-up?
Is it the original post or the UCI one with the adapter sleeve? My UCI one slipped, but the illegal one has been fine with carbon paste and 4Nm

Pushed somebody off this afternoon who had the same compatibility issue (Omega X + OG P2/P3) that you, Nutshell and @Sainsburys_Ed are suffering from. If there are enough others out there who want to tackle it seriously, it's probably fixable :)

My P3C seatpost has been fine so far, even though it looks like the previous owner has overtightened at some point.
How heavy are you?Looks like most of the clamping forces are on the frontal section of the seatpost, so you could add something like some helicopter tape to that area.

a) I'm having trouble with the seatpost slipping. With assembly paste and a torque wrench, it needs 6.5Nm whereas 4Nm is specified. And that's just on the turbo, no pedalling.
It's a brand new frame: does the post or tube need roughening-up?
b) Using a TriRig Omega X with a no-hanger backplate. I have a Tektro steerer mounted hanger, but that needs a 10mm spacer under it to clear the nose on a 54cm frame.
What are you using? Does anyone know of hangers with more forward extension (the Tektro has 38mm)?
