The plan (there is always a plan):
Strip, clean and tidy
Sell the Araya Super Aero wheels (in process)
Add wheels that will be comprised of Ultegra hubs and Velocity A23 rims
Throw rotten 23mm tyres in the bin and add lovely tan walled 28mm loveliness
Take off and sell/freecycle stem
Add 0 degree rise Nitto Dynamic stem (I'm getting older and less flexible)
Take off and sell the nearly new Selle Italia saddle.
Add oh some comfortable Charge Spoon.
Service and retain much of the build kit including brakes, FD and RD.
Take off and sell Ultegra brifters.
Add Cane Creek brake levers and Dura Ace barcons. -

Hey, that's a nice bike! Lovely frame, one of the best paint schemes.
I think a horizontal stem would make this even better, but fit over form of course.

True. I'm amazed 28mm tyres fit by the way. My old frame barely clears 23mm at the front. Is it a regular road/race frame?
-
• #19
Yeah 28's on there and it's a regular frame. But I am going to swap them for 25's. Although the clearance on the forks and stays is completely fine it's very tight on the rear brake bridge.......it's a precautionary measure really. It's tight enough that if the rear smacked a pothole I'd be in a world of trouble. The tyres are Clement Stradas and they're true to size.

This is how is currently looks:
The plan is to make in retro-neo and it will be my daily rider and specifically for a ride from Toulouse to Bordeaux (finishing at Arcachon for a couple of days on the beach).
