Dead right. Scotland has the potential for a very rosy future if it can break away. The underlying xenophobia that has been bubbling beneath the surface of England is slowly rising. It's ingrained in the higher classes, endemic in the lower classes. The vague middle class is a bewildered blur without leadership or direction and only the shouters are heard. Dark times.

Every country has potential. The reality is that Scotland will more then likely struggle economically with oil prices at around this level. The only hope is price rise. (Unlikely soon imo)
Otherwise the figured don't add up and they'll end up borrowing massively. And we know where that ends up.
